Prior to commencing in real estate Sue spent some nine years working for a chartered accountant in Taradale where she gained invaluable experience in dealing with taxation and finance. 
She is married, with two adult children.  A Napier resident for the last 40 years, she likes to be involved in the community, spending six years on the Tamatea High School Board of Trustees - three of these as chairperson and is also a sponsor for Hawke's Bay United Soccer - Sue is a long-time soccer fan.
